Forsaken
Age range: 13+
This game is great for pre-teens and up because of the theme including monsters, adventure, and roleplay. The instructions should also be easy for them to understand.

Forsaken is a exploration board game where the player explores different parts of the board and conquers the corrupted kingdoms, and monsters. All in pursuit of the sacred stone.
- Purpose of the game is to engage the players into an fantasy world where they can discover but also complete tasks to accomplish a goal.
- The game is to be played with no more than 3 players. Each player will be given the same amount of resources except for the character and companion that they choose.
- The game will consist of a map-like board, health points, a dice, game cards, and an instruction sheet.
Budget
Approximately $21 for the overall printing of components.
$1.31 for the dice
$1.31 for the dice
When making the game I looked at references for the aesthetic I wanted. I really liked the design of Game of Life and the random events that may occur for a player when you're on a specific tile on the board. Almost like monopoly, I wanted the game to incorporate the transition of money and valuables. For example, you may earn coins when landing on a specific tile, or lose some from an attack.
How To Play
❥ Each player will start on the first tile at the leftmost side of the board.
❥ Any player may start. You will take your turns one at a time.
❥ First player will start by rolling the dice. The number the dice lands on is the amount of tiles your piece will move on the board.
❥ If your piece happens to land on a tile with an A, that means you pick up an ATTACK card. You will follow the instructions on the card OR do nothing if nothing is implied. When done, put the card to the side and proceed to the next player’s turn.
❥ If you land on a tile with a D, that means you pick up a DISCOVERY card. You will follow the instructions on the card OR nothing if nothing is implied. Put the card in a DIFFERENT pile from the ATTACK cards. Proceed to the next player’s turn.
❥ If you run out of revive tickets in the game, you lose. Take your player piece off the board and place it back in the box.
❥ If you run out of ATTACK cards, take the used pile, shuffle the cards, and draw from the pile. Do the same for the DISCOVERY cards.
❥ If all players lose then you may reset the game and start over.
❥ Tiles with gold circles on them are jackpots. When a player lands on them, they receive 5 gold.
❥ Tiles with an A on them mean Attack so you will pick up a card with A on it.
❥ Tiles with a D on them mean Discovery so you will pick up a card with D on it.
❥ Blank tiles with no symbol on them are regular tiles. This means you don’t pick up any cards, and the game will proceed to the next player.
